Laser Station Hull

Laser Station can be found inside Funstation, on the Terrace Level of St Stephens shopping centre, in Hull city centre.

Laser Station is a clean, safe environment offering an experience that’s fun, interactive and provides a chance to role play for all ages. Great for children’s birthday parties, groups, or for something to do after school or at the weekend, Laser Station has it all. With a multi-level Indoor Laser Tag Arena, kids can let off some steam whilst having loads of fun at the same time. We provide catering for everyone from After School ‘Mini Troopers’, Student Nights, Schools & Groups to Team Building and Corporate Events, there is something for all ages.

Additionally, there is an option to play at Funstation, the family amusement centre, which allows each individual to test multiple motor skills, hand and eye coordination along with reaction time, special awareness and of course, some physical elements which are focused around skill and raw talent. It allows for everyone to participate no matter if you are a gamer, an athlete or just someone with a general lust for FUN. This will be an additional cost, so when booking please ask for details.

We can also offer a bespoke service dependent on your group size and requirements.

Laser Station brings the ultimate futuristic, adrenaline pumping adventure to be enjoyed by all the family! The multi-level arena lets up to 30 people use strategy, skill, communication and a little luck to work together to beat their opponents and defend their space base.

After all players enter our air lock, there will be a short video briefing followed by being armed with the very latest laser packs and phasors.  You will then be transported into Laser Station’s multi-level arena on a quest to overcome the opposition.

We also offer a ‘glow in the dark’ face paint option which not only helps to identify your team mates within the arena, but also makes you look fierce to the opposition!

All of this whilst having a huge amount of FUN at the same time!

Our Laser Station experience lasts for approx. 15 minutes; this is a combination of a short brief followed by game play, ensuring that all participants are informed of the risk as well as the gaming issue of the service we provide. Our arena is located over two levels, is accessible to all and promotes an ethos of a fun-filled environment.  Your students will be able to work together as a team to overcome the opposition, using communication, tactical teamwork, co-ordination, confidence building and strategy, whilst having fun!

We can cater for groups up to 100, with 30 participants at any one time in the arena.

We allow photography and visitors are requested to sign a consent form to allow us to use photographs/videos as well as what we also take to use for our own promotional purposes.

Yes we have risk assessments in place which can be provided if requested, either via email prior to your visit or on the day.

The cost per child for schools is a special price of £4.00 per child for a 15 minute taster session, or £4.00 for a group of over 20 players.  Teachers/supervisors go free, depending if there are extra packs available. (If no packs available, teachers/supervisors are able to walk around the arena with the players). Carers are also able to go free provided they have an identification badge etc. subject to availability.

There are various package options starting with just Laser, Laser and bowling or add a Funcard too with a choice of buffet food. Just Laser would be £4.00 per person, packages start at £8.00 per person and depending on your budget we can tailor your visit to suit your needs.

Glow in the dark face paints are also an additional cost.

Our site is equipped with First Aid equipment and has qualified First Aiders on site. If in the event there are no staff members available who are qualified, there are First Aiders within the centre who are able to assist.

We have a café with a seating area where which is ideal for groups to have buffets/parties or packed lunches, with hot and cold drinks available.  There are also on site toilet facilities with disabled access. Children are more than welcome to bring some money if they would like to use this in the Funstation arcade.

There are fully accessible toilets and there is wheel chair access at the front of the building via a ramp or the shopping centre lift. We have a wheel chair ramp for the bowling and Laser may be played on the ground floor arena only, if supervised by a teacher/carer. We do not have qualified SEN staff on site.

We can dim lights and cut sound for groups if required. Pre-booking and advance notice is required.
