What makes us a great choice for education?

Climbing offers a fun and exciting way to learn balance, co-ordination, team work, solo work, problem solving, technique. It’s a great way to promote fitness too.

What is typically included on our school trips?

The sessions are 1 hour long, and we need all climbers to be here up to 30 minutes before the session start time, this is so we can check everyone in, and get everyone harnessed up and give safety briefing. If you wanted to bring more than x30 climbers we can split them into 2 groups to climb one after another for 1 hour each. Or we can extend the session to 1 ½ hours. All climbers need to wear lose comfortable clothing and long hair must be tied back and no jewellery.

Group Sizes Catered For

Maximum per session is x30 but at our discretion and upon agreement we can allow more. Please ask for more details.

Photography, Filming & Audio Restrictions

No photos will be taken of the children unless permission is given.

Pricing Information

2 and ½- 4yrs (pre-schools/nurseries) - £7.50pp 4-6 yrs - £7.50pp 7-17yrs - £10.00pp 18+ - £12.50pp

Clothing Requirements

Loose comfortable clothing such as leggings, jeans and trainers. No open toed shoes, Crocs, Wellies or Climbing shoes. Long hair must be tied back. No climbing chalk.

First Aid Information

There will always be a first aid trained staff on site. We have just in March 2018 updated our training.

Available Facilities

We have a café with viewing area, we sell hot and cold drinks, cakes and snacks, and light lunches. We have a slush machine and sell a variety of cold drinks at our reception.

Accessibility & Disabled Facilities

We can accommodate groups with children and adults with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities. We have accessible toilet facilities. The upstairs café is not accessible to wheelchair users, but we can cater for anyone downstairs with food or drinks.

We can offer extra support for schools whose children have special educational needs or disabilities.
