What we offer on a school trip
Inspire your students and enhance your classroom teaching with a visit to Watts Gallery - Artists' Village - a creative backdrop for students to explore a range of subjects linked to the national curriculum and post-14 exam courses.
Be inspired by the paintings and sculptures on permanent display in Watts Gallery, which opened in 1904 and was purpose built to display work by the famous Victorian artist, George Frederic Watts. Explore the newly opened Watts Studios to gain insight into the space where George and Mary Watts created their masterpieces. Discover Arts and Crafts design at the Grade I listed Watts Chapel, designed by Mary Watts and created by the local community.
Come along for a self-guided tour or engage students with brilliant activities led by our creative learning team. Our programme includes interactive tours, artist-led workshops, activities and projects through which students and teachers can discover hundreds of paintings and sculptures, as well as craft and design, restored artist studios, heritage buildings and beautiful woodlands.
All visits can be tailored for ages 4-18, to compliment the delivery of the National Curriculum and post-16 syllabus, and support Arts Award and Artsmark.
