What is typically included on our school trips?
Your Course Director will discuss your requirements and help you to plan a residential that allows you to meet whatever objectives you have. This will determine which activities or locations that we utilise, the level of challenge, personal responsibility or duration of an activity. Therefore each course that we plan is different.
We run courses for groups from KS1 to KS4 and each may have a particular emphasis; Special programmes that link to specific parts of the National Curriculum or the every Child Matters Agenda.
As we take students into some very beautiful environments often we hope to create an engagement with the natural world. Many Schools now incorporate the John Muir Conservation Award into their programme. The courses are as varied as your needs, whether it be intervention programmes, Leadership courses for School prefects, GCSE PE, Asdan awards or pure Challenge and Adventure.
Mid week courses start on Monday morning, through to after lunch on Friday. Some Schools split the week so that a second group swaps with the first on the Wednesday lunchtime.
Two night courses can either be Monday to Wednesday, Wednesday to Friday to Friday to Sunday.
Our prices are fully inclusive: Sole use of either the Farm House or the Green House (or both if you have 40 or more students booked in), excellent home cooked food, all instruction, use of facilities and in-course transportation.

Testimonials
We loved the range of activities, the pace they were delivered and how they were planned progressively. We thought the accomodation and food were lovely too, we all felt spoilt!
We loved how challenging the activities were and how the staff encouraged everyone to push their comfort zones and extend their abilities. We've had amazing feedback from the young people, staff and parents.
Without Doubt, the best residential we've been on, everything was just perfect! - Heidi and Team, Door84 Youth Centre, York
We discussed team objectives on the first day and these were carried into every activity. The instructors were great at encouraging children who were nervous or teary to have a go and succeed to the best of their abilities and challenge themselves - Mrs Allen, All Saints School, Harrogate.
