What makes us a great choice for education?

Activities: visiting groups can benefit from a bespoke programme delivered by our experienced team, a shared delivery using your own staff and Carey staff as required or the group can be entirely self-staffed.

We regularly review our activity provision and have a number of new activities on offer both on and off site.

New activities:

Mountain biking, on site skills and confidence building sessions or hit the trails and develop technique and fitness.

Climbing: either on the climbing wall or tree climb

Archery on our woodland range

Tunnels

Plus:

Team building and problem solving

Natural shelter building, sleep out and cook own meal

Shovel fire lighting with hot drinks made on the Kelly kettles

Orienteering using our onsite facilities or in the local forest

Sleeping in bell tents or bunk house style accommodation

Camping at Carey Outdoor Education Centre really allows children and young people to connect with their natural environment. They can see and hear birds and animals that they may never have seen or heard before.

Carey operates under the Dorset Outdoor Education Service AALS Licence

Pricing Information

From April 2020: Three days/two nights approximately £105.00 per person, five days/four nights £200.00 per person with full board and accommodation.

All centre staff are First Aid trained.

We have picnic areas and a shop which sells souvenirs.
