What makes us a great choice for education?

We’re truly passionate about outdoor education; it’s not about the highest abseil towers or the most zipwires; for us, it’s about transformational learning outcomes. Improving children’s mental health and wellbeing with time in the outdoors, boosting confidence and developing resilience. Our team are dedicated to delivering life changing adventures which children will remember for the rest of their lives, and will deliver tangible benefits for teachers back in the classroom.

Accreditation and Awards

All Kingswood centres hold the CLOtC Quality Badge. Our COVID-secure protocols are approved by Kaddi and we are regularly audited by BAPA.

What is typically included on our school trips?

What you get starts before your trip, with our pre/post visit toolkit which will help you with evidencing for Ofsted. On the day itself, you’ll have a base room exclusively for your group where you can leave bags, enjoy your packed lunch and have a debrief at the end of the day. You’ll be assigned a dedicated activity leader(s) who will stay with you the whole day to limit contact. All of our day visits include 4 varied activities, designed specifically to support our key learning outcomes of confidence, resilience and life skills.

Group Sizes Catered For

We’ll respect any existing group bubbles but we generally work in group sizes of 12-15. Our vast centres have ample space for social distancing so we can accept groups of any size.

We’re launching a brand new pre/post visit to help teachers to evidence the benefits of their trip to Kingswood in terms of confidence and resilience. More details will be available soon.

We provide comprehensive risk assessments for activities, and also have constantly evolving COVID risk assessments to ensure we are always working to the latest government guidance.
