Duke of Edinburgh Award

Pupils taking part in Duke of Edinburgh activities and study can make use of a wide range of approved activity providers. A fantastic opportunity to get fit with friends; pushing limits with self-discipline & perseverance and attaining that wonderful feeling of self-achievement by knowing that you’re making a difference to the lives of others. The residential section of the award can be completed at any of these approved activity providers, with students having access to a wealth of different activity centres, a student’s only problem is which one to choose from the many available!! Suitable for youngsters from ages 14 up to young adults of 24; please refer to our listed activity providers to choose the right one for you.

Black Rock Outdoors delivers adventurous outdoor School Trips, where students can get outside of the classroom and take part in activities such as archery, tree climbing, canoeing, raft building, orienteering, mountain boarding and even slacklining!

Outposts is an outdoor education centre based on a farm in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty in Somerset. We provide team-building, leadership training and residential camps for students from age 8 upwards with accommodation and catering for up to 64.

Hi5 Events offers team building school trips. Students will have the opportunity to develop their communication, co-operation and leadership abilities through the use of fun activities, such as bushcraft, archery, and even building an air powered rocket.
