These visits would seek to inform and educate children & youngsters providing a basis for lifelong animal welfare considerations. ARK Wildlife Park, the UK’s rescue zoo, specialising in offering homes to unwanted or illegally kept exotic pets. Its home to a wide variety of captivating animals, from exotic mammals, fearsome carnivores to stunning reptiles and farmyard friends.
Our guided tours teach childrenin an educational but fun way about animals and birds. We cover habitats, baby animals, colours, caring for animals, eating habits and much more. Tours can be tailored to suit subjects related to the national curriculum.
We are passionate about education, the topics that are currently covered on the educational programme include food and farming, observing nature, animal experiences and environmental studies and cover Key Stages 1-3 and up to A-Level studies.

Coloured Cob Equestrian Centre is situated at Bank House Farm, nestled in the small village of Creswell, Worksop. Built in 1610, the property is steeped in history and is set within 35 acres of land, just off J30 of the M1.
Crocodiles of the World are the UK’s only crocodile zoo, with its largest crocodile collection and one of the best collections in Europe they provide excellent workshops for school trips and educational groups.
As one of the most unique zoo’s in the UK, we have an amazing wildlife ‘classroom’ to help bring the curriculum to life. Since we are a zoo, we can cater for sessions not only on biology, but also business studies, physics, chemistry and tourism.
The centre is run by teachers who understand the needs of teachers and children, and is focused on educational programmes with fun as a bi product ! We can focus programmes on all ages from pre school to secondary.
