At The Burwardsley Conway Centre, there is a replica Iron Age Roundhouse. Here, pupils can learn about the culture, art, and farming from this fascinating period. With off-site: water sports to on-site: immersive arts, pond study, mini-beast study, environmental art, storytelling and archaeological dig which can all be tailored to your students needs. Our accommodation comprises of 40 Students and 6 Staff in two dormitory’s.

What we offer on a school trip


Housed in the old primary school, Burwardsley offers opportunities unique to its location. It is also situated on the Sandstone Trail.
Burwardsley has its own replica Iron Age Roundhouse, enabling pupils to learn about the culture, art, and farming from this period. Pupils can also gain experience of wattle and daub construction, making clay pots, string making, and can even do an archaeological dig.
