What we offer on a school trip
We offer lots of educational workshops and will also work with schools to help meet their specific curriculum needs. An educational visit to All Things Wild can include an educational activity session, animal handling session and a ride through our Dino field. Please see our website, or contact us for more details. What makes us a great choice for education
All Things Wild is a friendly, safe and unique learning environment. Our park has so much to explore, from animals to dinosaurs! We are an all-weather attraction with lots of space inside and out, including our dedicated education room.
What is typically included on our school trips
Tailor your day at All Things Wild to suit you! Choose from a wide variety of educational and fun activity sessions. We have sessions suitable for Early Years Foundation Stage, Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2. Please get in touch with us for any Key Stage 3 + enquiries and we will do our best to suit your needs.
Some examples of our current sessions include:
Animal Handling, Feathers Fur & Scales, Jobs, Dino Explore, Bug Hunting, Habitats, Life Cycles, Fossil Discovery, Dino Land Train. Plus plenty more to choose from!
Group Sizes Catered For
We cater to groups of all sizes from a class of 10 to a whole school of 100, subject to availability in the diary! Please contact our helpful education team directly (education@allthingswild.co.uk) to plan your visit.
Materials, Resources & Information Provided
We provide copies of our risk assessments and a ‘teacher information pack’ as part of the booking process. We can also provide trail sheets to accompany some of our education programs. Teachers are able to undertake pre-visits.
Photography, Filming & Audio Restrictions
Photography is permitted, although please avoid using flash around the animals as it startles them!

We provide risk assessments during the booking process, teachers are also able to undertake a free pre-visit to help them plan their day.

Clothing Requirements
We highly recommend strong walking shoes, coats and wellies for wet weather, and hats and sun cream for warm weather.
First Aid Information
We do not legally have to provide a first aider, however many of our staff are first aid trained.
Available Facilities
We have a wide range of facilities including our animal park, indoor Dino Barn and ‘Step Through Time’ Dinosaur field. Our indoor play facilities include an indoor beach, 2 Soft Play areas, Pedal Tractors and Indoor Football. Our outdoor play facilities include a Barefoot Walk, Fossil Dig, Pedal Go-Karts and so much more!
We also have a cafe, lunch room hire, toy shop (including many items under £5), picnic tables, 10 toilets onsite and plenty of hand washing facilities.
Accessibility & Disabled Facilities
All Things Wild is wheelchair accessible and has two disabled toilets.
We regularly work with a number of special needs schools and can tailor your visit to meet their needs, for example by providing sensory activities.
Opening Hours & Information
All Things Wild is open all year round (apart from Christmas and Boxing day). Opening times are 10am – 5.30pm daily.
