What we offer on a school trip
Chasewater Activity Centre offers a range of thrilling water sports and outdoor adventures that will excite the senses.
With great historic and scientific interest, abundant wildlife, and fantastic water sports, Chasewater is a perfect place for a brilliant residential or day school trip. The centre is truly an all-year-round venue, offering an extensive range of both water and land-based activities.
Come and enjoy kayaking, raft building, archery, team challenges, rock climbing, mountain biking, and even learn bushcraft and shelter building skills.
Activities can be booked for an outdoor adventure day, multi day, or weeklong residential. They can also be booked weekly for progressional courses.
We also have 2 training rooms in the ‘woodshed’ to accommodate split learning and outdoor days, to get the most out of your learners and support them to reach their full potential, or to give staff meetings that little extra when it comes to team days.
Chasewater Activity Centre lends itself ideally for Duke of Edinburgh stopovers with amble space for pitching tents and indoor dormitory’s if required.
Residentials - Available from January 2022!
Did you know, as well as offering a whole host of school day trip activities, Chasewater Activity Centre also offers residential adventure experiences.
We can accommodate up to 60 young people in 2 separate 30-bed dormitories with separate en-suite rooms for visiting staff. The centre is on one level, ensuring we are accessible to all.
All our residentials and day trips are designed with our dedicated team to ensure they suit your individual requirements. With a host of facilities, we truly can cater to all of your needs.
We offer a range of catering to include all your meals should you wish. With our onsite training facilities, we can help you put together an experience on the water, on land, and inside, to achieve a range of targets including:

Our activities are specifically designed to support primary, secondary, and GCSE students on their academic and personal development journey and to meet learning outcomes. Students who join us here at Chasewater can also work towards a host of additional qualification such as the British Canoeing Paddle Awards and GB Archery Awards.
