What we offer on a school trip
Condover Hall is JCA’s year-round, dedicated activity centre. Since opening in 2011 we have provided thousands of children with unrivalled experiences and memories that will last a lifetime. With the unique combination of a stunning setting and exciting on-site activities, we believe we have a winning formula that’s guaranteed to motivate and develop student’s learning!
Our on-site outdoor activities range from our thrilling high Aerial Trek, to archery and fencing, to water activities on the lake, and everything in between! As well as a whole lot of fun outdoors, we also have a selection of indoor activities such as the laser maze, tunneling room and Laser Conquest.
The accommodation at Condover Hall has been designed and furnished based on feedback from schools to ensure that all our rooms are comfortable, and the facilities are practical and fun.
The safety and security of anyone who visits is a primary focus for all our team. Groups are accommodated in purpose-built blocks set within the grounds. A member of the JCA team is on-call 24 hours a day, with senior staff on duty until late and porters patrolling the grounds throughout the night.
What makes us a great choice for education?
A residential activity trip can be daunting prospect for some children, with many experiencing their first night away from parents on the school trip. For Group Leaders, planning a trip that meets the school’s learning outcomes while remaining enjoyable and safe for everyone can seem equally daunting. Therefore, it’s essential that JCA provides customers with a wealth of experience to draw on, offers action-packed curriculum-linked itineraries, represents exceptional value for money and supports you from initial enquiry through to home time.
At Condover Hall we have superb high-adrenaline activities such as high ropes, aerial trek, climbing and abseiling and zip line (to name a few!) which will challenge, excite and motivate participants of all ages to overcome fears and push boundaries. We also have an exceptional range of land and water-based activities to try, like fencing, archery, canoeing and raft-building, along with an unrivalled choice of facilities. With so much on offer, the hardest decision to make at Condover Hall is what to do first!
