The Stadium Arts Tour provides a unique visit to Twickenham Stadium to explore an extensive collection of art inspired by rugby.

Twickenham Stadium Arts Tour

Since opening in 1909, Twickenham Stadium has become one of English sport’s most iconic venues and has built up a unique collection of artistic treasures. The World Rugby Museum provides a Stadium Arts Tour for your students to explore the architecture, interior design and branding, as well as an extensive collection of paintings, sculpture and photography housed within the Stadium.

Lasting approximately 90 minutes, the Stadium Arts Tour can be tailored to the needs of your students to include highlights such as:

  • Shane Record’s First World War painting Forever England
  • Tommy Steele’s Union sculpture
  • Gerald Laing’s Core Values sculpture
  • Gerald Laing’s Spirit of Rugby sculptures
  • A selection of William Barnes Wollen’s paintings including The Roses Match
  • Modern corporate interior design in the South Stand hospitality areas and England dressing room
