Carymoor Environmental Education Centre’s unique location next to a working landfill site in east Somerset is the perfect place to bring green issues to life for your class. We have safe access to the landfill site all year round, providing first hand experiences of waste management and recycling. 

Cheddar Gorge and Caves Somerset
Britain’s biggest gorge with cliff top walks, underground caverns of Gough’s and Cox’s Caves, prehistory museum and open-top bus tours. Cheddar makes for a truly experiential day out for students. Court Farm Country Park Somerset
Court Farm provides a safe and enjoyable environment in a beautiful countryside setting where children can learn all about farming. We are one of the first farms in the country hosting educational and group visits to have achieved full CEVAS accreditation*. Our farm is a mixed farm (crops and livestock) which has now been open to the public for nearly 30 years. It is home to many different kinds of farm animals and pets including pedigree Red Ruby Devon cattle and Texel sheep.

Fashion Museum Somerset

The Fashion Museum hosts a world class collection of historic and contemporary dress. Roman Baths North Somerset
At the heart of the World Heritage Site is the Roman Baths. On a visit you can see the ruins of the Temple of Minerva, visit the bath-house where people bathed nearly 2000 years ago and see the only hot springs in the UK. You will walk where Romans once walked around the Great Bath and meet Roman characters from the town of Aquae Sulis:

Teneriffe Farm National Trust
We can offer a campsite with great connections to our tenant farm neighbour, we are based on the edge of the Lizard NNR in an area of special scientific interest. We can also offer activities organized through our partnership businesses including coasteering, kayaking, climbing, surfing and bush craft and cycle hire/guided trips. We can take groups of up to around 60 at the campsite where we have showers and toilet facilities, a limited number of pods available, a childrens play area and electric hookups should you need them.

Nothe Fort Museum School Trips Dorset
The WW2 Evacuee Experience attracts up to 3000 pupils visit Nothe Fort each year and enjoy a programme of activities based on the life of an evacuee sent to Weymouth during World War 2. The programme is packed full of realism, role-play, 1940s discipline and the dreaded times tables. The evacuees are encouraged to arrive dressed in World War 2 clothing and carrying their gas mask box. They are usually split into groups of between 6-12 and participate in the many activities: 

Harbour Challenge Outdoor Activity Centre Dorset
Based at Hamworthy Park in Poole, Dorset, and in the Wareham Forest, Harbour Challenge offers a variety of activities, both land and water based, in a natural and extremely safe environment. We cater for school groups for specific days and for longer residential stays. We run our sessions with a learner centred approach. By this we mean that your group will not be led through activities with a ‘follow me and do as I say’ approach. Instead, the young people are inspired to be explorers and adventurers themselves:

The museum tells the story of the men and women who built, operated and travelled on the Great Western Railway, often referred to by historians and railway fans as 'God’s Wonderful Railway'.

The Wilderness Outdoor Residential Centre in Gloucestershire
Set in around 30 acres of beautiful woodland, meadow and pasture land, the Wilderness Centre offers a fantastic venue for your next Residential trip. The Centre itself sleeps up to 54 people in the main house with options for camping in the grounds if your group is larger. Activities are tailored to the requirements of a particular group and we offer a range of activities from bush craft, climbing and field archery through to camping, crate stack, tunnelling, night walks, foraging and outdoor cookery on site. For an extra charge, activities such as canoeing, kayaking, and mountain biking will be offered off site.

At-Bristol is a thriving, hands-on science centre and an educational charity with a mission to make science accessible to all. We aim to inspire our 60,000 student visitors each year and encourage them all to see science as enjoyable, relevant and something they can all be part of. We offer hundreds of interactive exhibits over two floors, a stunning 3D Planetarium (the UK’s first!) and a programme of innovative workshops, theme days and science shows for all ages. 

The Matthew of Bristol
We offer one hour educational trips to primary school children. Our volunteers love to lead children’s groups and really bring what it was like on board to life. All trips are deigned to fit in with the national history KS1 and 2 curriculum – local history, John Cabot and the discovery of Newfoundland, the famous Bristol pirate Blackbeard, and life on board a Tudor ship. AirHop Trampoline Parks Bristol
We are the largest trampoline park in the world and we offer pupils the chance to bounce and have fun in a safe environment. We also offer primary schools the chance to take part in our home trampoline safety assemblies where we visit the schools and present a 20 minute assembly on trampoline safety and the do’s and don’ts.
