Standlake Equestrian Centre and Ranch have been running the Hands of Hope Charity since 2008 which started in Zambia with 51 children who were literally starving in the villages due to lack of food because of natural disasters such as floods.  These children have since been rescued and educated by the Charity.  Due to rapid growth they are now sending over £3,300 per month to feed 895 orphans who have joined this orphanage. The orphanage is divided into 4 villages. The Orphanage provides food, drinking water and schooling for the local orphans. Current projects that are being established in the villages are organic gardens and wells which have been supported by the local chief in order for them to be self sufficient.  They also Support two Orphanages in Pakistan and have since opened up Faith Primary School in India in 2008 to help with the orphan’s education.
