Calling all Muggles! To celebrate the 20th anniversary of Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone, the North Yorkshire Moors Railway is offering free entry to all children dressed as witches and wizards from Saturday 24th – Monday 26th June.

Children who visit in fancy dress will travel free along the line with a full paying adult fare* and will also receive a commemorative badge for taking part.

The North Yorkshire Moors Railway (NYMR) and York College are pleased to be working together on the railways 60s Fest event taking place on the 22nd and 23rd July. The NYMR, which is less known as an educational charitable trust, works with a variety of learning establishments.  Due to the re-launch of a new, bigger and better 60s Fest event the railway has partnered up with York College to help inject some sixties groove.

This May half term, 27th May to 4th June, we are giving our younger passengers the chance to become a North Yorkshire Moors Railway (NYMR) child Vlogger who will be given the opportunity to review our upcoming 2017 events for free!
