Our centre is based in Pendine, South West Wales, overlooking the famous Pendine Sands and on the edge of the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park.

We provide adventurous activities and short breaks from our centre and across South West Wales. One of our strengths is that we specialize in a wide range of activities hence offering something for everyone, all ages and abilities.

With staff who have backgrounds in teaching, coaching and instructing and due to our experience in the fields of education and the outdoors we feel that we are more than capable in ensuring that any educational visit can be catered for.


What does a typical school trip or educational visit include?

An educational/residential experience at Morfa Bay Adventure includes participation in exciting adventurous activities whilst gaining an understanding and appreciation for the outdoor environment through a programme of study and adventure.

Key skills and relationships are developed during the experience and those involved achieve a massive sense of self esteem and pride.

We tailor entirely for each visit according to the needs and requirements of each specific group.


What size groups do they cater for?

Our on-site facilities include accommodation in the form of lodges and bunkhouses for up to 140 people. We also have partner accommodation providers in the local area that can cater for varying sized groups whether it be in the form of a hotel, hostel or converted holiday B&B.


What can they provide you with to support your school trip or educational visit?

We provide for units and a syllabus when concerning the study of the John Muir Award and OCN Wales. On request a programme of study can be created to cover for GCSE, A – Levels, BTEC and any other OAA specific studies throughout the key stages.

We can also cater and support for students involved in DofE by contributing towards their expedition section of the award.


Can you take photos, video or audio? Are there any copyright restrictions?

Yes children are welcome to use any ICT equipment whilst at the centre or on activities and no there are no copyright restrictions.

Do you have first aid on site?

All instructors at Morfa Bay Adventure are first aid qualified and hold certificates with required training. The centre also provides a resident nurse and first aid room.

Shop, canteen/dining hall, multi snack vending machines, drinks vending machines, games room (pool table & table tennis), adventure playground, and recreation field (football, rugby, cricket, volleyball, rounders, etc.)
