The Sutton Life Centre is Europe's first super classroom. Part movie set, part learning experience; our Life Skills Zone teaches your pupils about citizenship, personal safety and the environment using the latest cinematic technology. Giant projection screens, powerful surround sound, evocative lighting and interactive elements all combine to create an immersive learning environment like no other.

Why is this venue great for School Trips and Educational Visits?

Our Life Skills Tours help bring PSHE to life in a way that enhances and builds upon classroom learning. We cover a range of topics tackled in a number of highly immersive digital scenarios, including alcohol, smoking, drugs, gangs and knives, robbery, urban safety, internet safety, fire safety, bullying, transport safety, anti-social behaviour, diet and nutrition, waste, recycling and climate change. We also provide lesson plans which support learning back in the classroom.

What does a typical school trip or educational visit include?

Our Life Skills Zone is currently aimed at Year 6 and Year 8 pupils:

The Year 6 experience helps pupils make the transition to secondary school and take on the new challenges and opportunities they will face.

The Year 8 experience helps pupils develop the skills they need to face an increasing range of risks and tricky social situations as they continue development into their teenage years.

The centre is divided into four zones, each of which delivers a unique learning experience.
