“We feel you really put yourself out to make sure the children had a thrilling time. We have been going on a two day hike for many years and this year by far was the most successful one. I hope you will go on to help many more children through your wonderful establishment”

"We all really enjoyed our stay at the Consett YMCA. The beds were comfortable, facilities were clean and helped us to cope in all weather (especially the sports hall). The activities that they ran for us were all good fun and done with a high level of health and safety. Our kids had a great time". - NECC (North East Christian Camp)

“I would just like to send a special thanks for our excellent stay at your youth hostel.  During our stay from start to finish your staff were extremely welcoming and helpful.  The accommodation was very comfortable and ideal for our group and led to an extremely pleasant stay.  The facilities were really good and we were also given access to the sports hall on the evening which meant the group could enjoy playing football.  The home cooked food provided was very substantial and delicious. I would definitely recommend staying at the Consett YMCA and will be returning with future groups.”

Many thanks again for your hospitality and cooperation during our visit. Helen Nuttall St Wilfrid’s RC College PE Teacher/Cycle trip leader
