Xscape have three fantastic indoor venues based in Castleford in Leeds, Milton Keynes and Braehead in Glasgow where a vast range of indoor activities are provided to inspire, stretch and develop any child. These range from soft play for nursery school children, to rock climbing, skiing, laser quest, high rope courses, bowling, skateparks, drop slides, cinema and soccer circus.

Can you take photos, video or audio? Are there any copyright restrictions?

Guests are welcomed to take photos, videos and audio, but we request that a teacher signs a media waiver before any such recording takes place. These are available on the day of the visit from the Xscape Management Suite, or in advance on request.

 

How do you arrange a risk assessment?

Risk assessments are available on request from the Xscape Management Office. Bespoke risk assessments for your group are also available if required. (Special needs schools etc).

What does it cost?

All school packages are tailored per request, based on the number of children and which activities they wish to participate in. The schools booking service is operated by SNO!zone, and contactable on the following numbers:

Is specific clothing required?

For snowboarding and skiing groups need to Wrap up warm - it is REAL snow so you will need full length trousers, long sleeved jacket/top, base layers, socks and gloves. For tobogganing you will also need sturdy footwear (wellies are available to rent) and we recommend a change of clothes.

Airkix, the indoor skydiving tunnel, requires lace up trainers. All other specialist clothing is provided as part of the booking. (Milton Keynes Only).

 

Do you have first aid on site?

Each venue has a first aider on site.

 

What facilities do they have for school trips and educational visits?

There is a café  within SNO!zone which provides fruit, snacks, biscuits, hot meals, sandwiches and hot and cold drinks. Costs range from £1 - £5. Throughout the Xscape centre there are numerous cafes, fast food chains and restaurants.

 

Are there disabled facilities?

All entrances have disabled access, and full provision is made for disabled children within all activities.
