Lagoon Watersports offers children and young people the opportunity to take part in various outdoor adventurous activities, such as sailing, windsurfing, wakeboarding, stand up paddleboarding, kayaking and team and raft build.

Lagoon Watersports has over 23 years experience offering watersports to school groups. We offer activities for students age 6+. Although most activities for school groups take place at Hove Lagoon, older students do have the option to take part in sailing and powerboating activities from our coastal centre at Brighton Marina.
We cater for groups of 4 students up to over 100.

What does a typical educational visit include?
Activity session are tailor made to the groups requirements. We offer multi activity Taster days, enrichment days and weeks, weekly sessions to gain recognised qualifications. We offer course suitable for Key Stage 1 - 4, BTEC and DofE.

We also offer after school clubs and class bonding sessions.

What group sizes do you cater for?
4 - 100+

Do you provide projects, teacher’s packs, work sheets or any useful information?

Are you happy for children to take photos, video or audio?
Yes - As long as all class members are happy to be filmed

What is your process for booking pre arranged risk assessments?
We have full risk assessments available and they can be emailed to teachers. Site visits can be arrange by contacting us.

Is specific clothing required for the trip?
All specialised equipment is provide, including wet suits.

Usually students should bring swimming costume, towel and suitable clothing forthe weather.( Eg coat or sun tan cream)

Do you have first aid on site or will the group need to bring a qualified first aider?
All instructor have a first Aid qualification
