The Emmerdale Studio Experience is a visitor attraction located in the former ITV Studios and showcases the entire ‘lights-camera-action’ process of creating an episode of Yorkshire’s favourite soap.

Featuring exclusive glimpses into how the cast and crew tell the gripping stories and capture the spectacular stunts you see on your screens, Emmerdale helps frame how an episode of TV is created.

Students will be able to discover insights on filmmaking, and learn through interactive elements outside the classroom environment. The Script to Screen workshop will augment the tour and allow students to learn more about the processes they found interesting.

Why you are you a great place for educational visits?
The interactive elements of the Emmerdale Studio Experience offer a perfect learning tool for students to get a hands-on and in-depth insight into the TV production process. From activities involving lights, camera, and action, showcased through replica sets and preserved props and costumes.

Students will be able to take their own avenues for learning from the vast amount of processes involved in bringing a piece of fiction alive onscreen, that will overlap with key elements of the curriculum.
