What does a typical educational visit include?
Your group can join a public session or you can hire Clip ‘n Climb exclusively for your session, allowing you to bring up to 34 climbers and unlimited use of the Extreme Challenges.

Different sessions we offer to schools include:
Explore Session
This is where the children have free range of the arena to ‘Explore’ and find their comfort levels on the walls. Our instructors are on hand to provide assistance and encouragement throughout. This is an ideal session for the first time a school group has visited Clip ‘n Climb. The main learning outcomes are developing confidence and provide the opportunity for children to face any fear of heights and challenges.

Team Building Session
This is where we get the group into teams and give them challenges to complete. Team sessions also help with problem solving and the ability to work in teams.

Examples of this include: Points Challenge: Each wall has multiple ways to complete it, with increasing points awarded according to difficulty. Climbers add their points to for each wall to their team score

What group sizes do you cater for?
We can accommodate upto 34 climbers at any one time

Do you provide projects, teacher’s packs, work sheets or any useful information?
Log Books and Certificates of Achievement are available

Are you happy for children to take photos, video or audio?
There are no restrictions for filming and photography

What is your process for booking pre arranged risk assessments?
Risk Assessments are available in advance

What is the cost of the visit?
Our standard cost is £12.50 per person and includes a half hour briefing and 1 hours climbing – for larger group bookings during the week we can offer a discount at £11 per climber.

Supervising adults can attend free of charge but will not be able to climb.

Is specific clothing required for the trip?
Sensible loose fitting clothing, trainers and no jewelry please

Do you have first aid on site or will the group need to bring a qualified first aider?
Our centre is staffed with first aiders
