Why you are you a great place for educational visits?
Schools and youth groups keep booking in with us due to the fact the children really enjoy themselves when coming to the track, it is available for anyone and not dependant on whether the child has been karting before. Every child is treated the same, this enables each child to get confidence doing something in a group.

What does a typical educational visit include?
The session is for two and an half hours. The group is taken through a 30 minute safety briefing, this will include safety, how the karts work and what happens in the event of a crash. The group will then be split into 2 groups depending on group size. The groups will take it in turns on the karts. This is done for 2 hours. The group that isn’t karting can sit and relax and get juice and biscuits that are provided. Chocolate and crisps and cans are available to buy from the office.

What group sizes do you cater for?
Upto 16 students at a time

Do you provide projects, teacher’s packs, work sheets or any useful information?
We can provide any information required for each visit. Just contact us with the requirements

Are you happy for children to take photos, video or audio?
There may be instances where there are students helping out at the kart track that are subject to child protection and you would not be able to take photos or videos. The group will be made aware of this when they arrive.

What is your process for booking pre arranged risk assessments?
All risk assessments for the track are available to each group before they visit. We just require the address to send the assessments or can be emailed should the need arise

Does your venue have an education officer?
We do not have an education officer as such. For any bookings you would need to contact Adrian Woods who is operations manager for Ontrak. He can be contacted on either 01274678272 or 01274309455.
