Description

Ty'n Y Berth and Bryn Coedwig Centres are situated on the edge of the beautiful Snowdonia National Park, surrounded by areas of outstanding natural beauty, the perfect base for an inspiring range of Adventure Learning Activities, second to none!

For over forty years, the Wide Horizons Ty’n y Berth and Bryn Coedwig Centres have provided advanced and adventurous learning experiences for children. These sites provide a perfect base for a range of adventure activities through which you can explore the surrounding mountains and countryside.

Our gorge walking experience will not only excite pupils but also physically challenge them and increase their understanding of a large range of geographical subjects including rivers, mountains and the water cycle, erosion and deposition as well as improving the environment.

We strongly believe that teaching through fun and exploration is the best strategy to promote personal and educational growth in young people. Our residential programmes, linked to the national curriculum requirements, are tailored to the specific needs of each group and aim to deliver high quality learning and development experiences in the surrounding habitat.
