Description

With almost 11 acres of beautiful grounds, Wide Horizons Bryntysilio Centre is set above the picturesque town of Llangollen, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Get ready for an unforgettable adventurous experience by the River Dee and Horseshoe Falls!

Take secondary pupils mountain biking in Bryntysilio, one of the only centres in the UK to hold the Mountain Bike Leadership Award, approved by British Cycling. Our highly skilled staff will take your group on one of the finest routes in Europe!

The adventure of canoeing through the canals of North Wales will give pupils a unique insight into British history that extends pupil's chronological knowledge, in particular that of the industrial revolution.

Wide Horizons Bryntysilio Centre converts your school’s curriculum into an inspiring and unforgettable Adventure Learning Experience. We provide advanced and innovative programmes, tailored to your group’s needs. Our mission is to offer a meaningful, first-class learning experience through adventure and fun. Wide Horizons believe that every child should have access to adventure as part of their education and development. We work with schools across the country to develop high quality Adventure Learning Experiences for almost 48,000 children and our programmes are linked to the national curriculum to make the most of each pupil’s visit. Our outdoor learning activities are specifically designed to build self-esteem and personal qualities such as resilience, confidence, communication skills and well-being.
