Clip N Climb Wigan is the number one destination for school trips and group days out. Featuring 22 fun-packed climbing walls that are filled with challenges galore, students can play and learn in a safe, clean, fun environment.

Under the supervision of a fully trained and supportive crew, students are free to test their heads for heights and put their wits, speed, strength and bravery to the test.

No previous climbing wall experience is required, and full training is given to all climbers to guarantee absolute safety.

Clip N Climb is located within Velocity Trampoline Park Wigan, one of the largest trampoline parks in Europe with amazing activities, facilities, games and classes for all ages.

Offering wall to wall interlinked Trampolines, Velocity offers students the opportunity to get fit, build confidence and practice new skills whilst having fun.

Through our activities we aim to provide both adults and children with a new and exciting experience. We inspire people to become more active by introducing physical exercise in a fun and innovative way.

We also cater for disabled and autistic students. Offering safe and fun surroundings to learn and play.

Why you are you a great place for educational visits?
With fully trained staff on hand to help guide your students through a variety of challenges - You will see the students confidence build throughout their session. We will also provide you with the opportunity to cover targets outlined by the National Curriculum for key stage 1 and 2 outside the classroom.

Our mission is to deliver positive, fun and enriching experiences that enable a sense of freedom for participants allowing them to grow in confidence and learn new skills whilst having a great time.

What does a typical educational visit include?
Clip n Climb Climbing Wall

The session will start with a 30 minute safety briefing and check-in. Qualified instructors will take you through training and harness fitting.

Over the next hour you will have the chance to climb 22 colourful and unique Clip ‘n’ Climb climbing walls. Under the supervision of a fully trained crew, you’ll be free to test your head for heights and pit your wits against our climbing walls.

Depending on group size and requirements you also have the option of making use of our private ‘party rooms’ or ground floor and top floor cafes after your session.

Velocity Trampoline Session

The session will start with a 30 minutes safety briefing and check-in.

Jump sessions each last one hour and include access to wall to wall interconnected trampolines, our foam pit area and giant air bag. Students can test their stability and balance on our wobble ladder, and satisfy their sense of adventure by practising somersaults and flips, landing in the comfort of our oversized, air filled cushion.

Jump + Climb Session

We can also offer Jump and Climb packages and tailor the visit to the specific needs of the group depending on key stages and curriculum topics.

What group sizes do you cater for?
We can accommodate up to 30 students in each one hour session in the Clip 'n Climb arena.
On the trampolines we can accommodate up to 200 students per hour.

What is your process for booking pre arranged risk assessments?
Risk assessments are available on request. Should you wish to conduct your own risk assessment we can arrange for you to visit in advance.

What is the cost of the visit?
If you are a school, scout group, football team, dance group or anything similar and want to book a group session then you can benefit from reduced prices (standard sessions are £9 for Trampolines and £10 for the Climbing Wall), refreshments and a dedicated host.

It’s free for supervising adults to observe.

Is specific clothing required for the trip?
Standard PE Clothing - comfortable clothes such as sweats, and t-shirts. No sharp objects such as belt buckles or clothing studs are allowed on climbing wall or trampolines.

If using the climbing wall you must wear shoes or trainers, sandals and flip-flops are not suitable.

If using the Trampolines all jumpers must wear special Velocity grip socks, no other footwear is permitted.

Do you have first aid on site or will the group need to bring a qualified first aider?
First aid is available on site.

Refreshments and food are available to purchase on site in our cafe. We have two large seating areas, private party rooms, toilets, disabled toilet.

By prior arrangement we may be able facilitate an area to eat a packed lunch.
