Field Studies

The Isle of Wight is both compact and diverse, a microcosm of South-East England, offering a paradise for Geographers and a range of accessible ecosystems for Biologists to investigate.

The Island has over 70 miles of diverse coastline, estuaries with saltmarshes, rocky shores, rivers, managed woodland with red squirrels, thriving and declining settlements, as well as so much more.

* No field site is more than a 40 minute drive from the Centre! *

Our team of field studies tutors are all qualified teachers and experts in their field. Whether its Biology or Geography they are equipped to provide the highest quality of field work courses designed to fit your group’s requirements.

With particular expertise in the field work requirements for all examination specifications, we regularly hear success stories from teachers who have seen grades rise, course uptakes increase and, above all, a new passion and interest in the natural and physical world in their students.

Our team can provide support with pre and post course work. Depending on your specification we also have a wide range of technological tools, including ArcGIS, that can provide fantastic data sets for further study.
