Exactly what does your venue offer to educational visits?
Play Factore facilities cater for children from 6 months – 16 years old and we are the only family entertainment arena in the UK where parents and teachers can play with children on age-applicable equipment. Meaning teachers/supervisors can enjoy an Illy coffee or grab a bite to eat in our restaurant whilst still having access to the facilities to keep an eye on the children! At over 26 000 sq ft our state of the art venue houses the largest play frame in Europe along with a host of other unique attractions that are second to none. Based in Manchester next to the Intu Trafford Centre (underneath the Chill Factore) with easily accessible links to all major transport routes, Play Factore provides a complete day out for schools and groups looking to celebrate the good times!

From our 40ft long indoor slide to whizzing around the Go Kart track or mastering the art of stealth in our Laser Tag area; Play Factore’s dedicated team will ensure you and your children/pupils enjoy a session to remember.

We can fit the whole class or school under one roof! Our one of a kind play frame and various activities are all designed to inspire children and their families to get active-physical education does not have to be limited to the confines of the school playground any longer!

What does a typical educational visit include?
All School/Group bookings allow guests 2.5 hours and customers will have access to our main play frame, Go Karts, and the Big Red Slide (5yrs+).

Additionally we have the option to add on Laser Tag/Zip Wire experiences at an additional cost for groups within applicable age groups. Guests can also enjoy a hot food lunch box for an additional charge of £3.95.

Guests aged 5 and under will have access to our designated Toddler Play Area, with slides, soft play and our interactive iClick dancefloor.

What group sizes do you cater for?
(Off Peak-Monday-Friday term time excluding Bank Holidays) Minimum Group Booking size -15 children, maximum group size 200.

(Peak-weekends and holidays) Minimum Group Booking size -50 children, maximum group size 200.
For groups of 200-400, private hire options are available on request.

Do you provide projects, teacher’s packs, work sheets or any useful information?
Group Booking leaflets with full details of school group price points and packages available on request.

Are you happy for children to take photos, video or audio?
Guests are welcome to take pictures of themselves enjoying all the facilities at Play Factore, although we do request if you are taking a picture with other guests present in the image you gain permission first.

What is your process for booking pre arranged risk assessments?

What is the cost of the visit?
Supervising adults are not charged an admission rate for Group Bookings.

Is specific clothing required for the trip?
Play Factore advise that long sleeve clothing is worn on both the top and bottom of the body to avoid potential friction burns and injury. Socks must be worn at all times; shoes must be removed prior to entering the play frame (storage available with Reception Team)

Do you have first aid on site or will the group need to bring a qualified first aider?
Play Factore have a minimum of 2 First Aiders on site at all times.

Play Factore also boasts a group friendly restaurant, with a team of chefs preparing healthy and delicious meal options using fresh and locally sourced ingredients. Try one of our pizzas made with fresh dough and a delicious homemade sauce cooked to perfection in our stone bake oven!

What are your disabled facilities?
In terms of our venue, please note disabled access can be gained via the main entrance at all times. Our disabled bathroom facilities are located on the ground floor area. 7 days a week 10am-6.30pm, (excluding Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Year’s Day.)
