Eaton Vale Activity Centre is a prime activity location in the heart of Norfolk. Situated in the beautiful countryside, we have the River Yare running through our 13 acres. We are on the outskirts of the city of Norwich, which is accessible from almost every major city by public transport. Our site can only be accessed by our private drive, which has a code-locking gate controlled by the staff members.

What group sizes do you cater for?
Our purpose built indoor accommodation, the Iceni House, can sleep up to 57, and our Tented Village can sleep up to 68. Our campsites have the capability to sleep from 15 people to 250. Enough space to bring the whole school along!
Please give information regarding room sizes and room facilities?
Our rooms vary in size to be able to accommodate all varieties of groups. We have a variety of bunkbeds and single beds to cater for all needs, all within close distance of male, female, and disabled toilets and showers. The indoor accommodation offers an en-suite bathroom in the teachers’ room, and the Tented Village offers heated indoor chalets with bunk beds for teachers. Our Iceni House also has many extra facilities such as a snug, filled with games; tv; sofas and much more.
What is the cost of the accommodation?
Prices are calculated per person, with the winter seasons offering a reduced price to peak season. We offer free teacher places when a certain amount of young people are booked in. Our detailed price guide can be found on our website in the downloads section.
What is your process for booking pre arranged risk assessments?
All of our risk assessments can be found on our website in the downloads sections. We have an extensive fire safety procedure, with every member of permanent staff being trained as a fire warden.

Do you have first aid on site or will the group need to bring a qualified first aider?
Each group is responsible for their own first aid requirements, however each member of permanent staff is first aid trained.

We have a wide variety of facilities for all visitors to Eaton Vale, regardless of which accommodation is booked. Everyone can enjoy the Inky’s Shop located on site, the shower block facilities, and much more. By booking certain accommodations, you will get free use of their exclusive facilities, such as the main hall and dining room. We offer catering options with any residential. There is also free Wi-Fi throughout the Centre.
What are your disabled facilities?
We can always accommodate children with disabilities, though we ask for prior warning. We have a whole host of disabled facilities, from disabled access to the building, hoists and a first aid room, a lift, and disabled toilets and showers with all accommodation.
What are your opening days and hours?
We are open every day of the week, all year round.
