Green award winning Comrie Croft is a unique multi-purpose DIY venue. Located on a large estate at the base of a 3000ft mountain in the heart of rural Perthshire, it’s just over an hour from Edinburgh & Glasgow.

With a choice of three hostels, three camping areas and seven Nordic Kata’s groups of all sizes can be accommodated.

All indoor accommodation is dorm style, with a range of room sizes. The Steading sleeping 58, Farm house sleeps 16 and Combruith (in the village of Comrie) sleeps 46. All three have self-catering kitchens and comfy lounges.

Need more space for activities etc.? Combruith has a large sports hall and table tennis room, while at the Croft you’ll find a Cowshed and Barn.

WIFI is available in communal area only, currently unavailable at Combruith.

Both the Steading and Farm house have TV’s for watching DVD’s only.

What is the cost of the accommodation?
Cost depends on accommodation used, best to contact us for a quote.

What is your process for booking pre arranged risk assessments?
Help with risk assessment information can be given, teacher/group leaders are welcome to have previsit walk abouts. We can help with risk assessments by organizing previsit walk abouts and answering any questions teachers may have. Fire Checks happen every Friday around 11:40am

Do you have first aid on site or will the group need to bring a qualified first aider?
First aid trained Crofters are onsite between 8am & 6pm daily. No cover outside of these hours.

Both the Steading and Combruith have large catering style kitchens with attached dining areas as well as comfy lounges. The Farmhouse has a cozy family sized kitchen and small sitting room. If you need additional space for a classroom or activity area you can hire to Cow Shed or Barn if at the Croft, Combruith has an attached sports hall.

What are your disabled facilities?
The Steading has an accessible downstairs bedroom and shower room with roll in shower. Both Combruith and the Farmhouse aren’t wheelchair accessible. For more in depth accessibility information please see our website.

What are your opening days and hours?
We are open all year round. The office is open 8am – 5pm 7 days a week.

Is there anything else that you feel is important and want to include in your information?
If you love to walking, mountain bike, Comrie Croft is the place to bring your class. Nestling at the base of Ben Chonzie there are over 90km of walking trails to choose from, many, including the munro accessible directly from the Croft.

A haven for mountain bikers there’s a skills park and 16kms of dedicated graded trails to test their skill and nerve on. The bike gurus at Comrie Croft Bikes can help with bike hire, coaching, guiding (on and off site) and route planning. Special rates for groups staying onsite.
