Stokes Barn is located on the outstanding natural beauty spot of The Wenlock Edge. These converted barns provide everything you might need for a self-catering stay with us. Each property consists of a fully equipped kitchen, bathrooms, a dining area and a lounge area with a TV and DVD player. The bedrooms are set of bunk bed dormitories with The Threshing Barn sleeping 28 and The Granary which sleeps 16. You are provided with basic bedding however if you require duvets theses are an additional cost of £4 per duvet.

Stokes Barn is ideal accommodation for groups who truly want to get back into nature, with various National Trust Walks where you can appreciate the magic of the Shropshire landscapes.

We are situated roughly 1 mile away from the town of Much Wenlock where you can find all amenities you may need. There is also a Leisure Centre which provides various activities and also a swimming pool open to the public.

When staying at Stokes Barn you can reassured that there is always a member of stay on call for your duration if you are to have any problems in regards to the property.

You are also located on-site to out activity Centre, The Edge Adventure, consequently there is a reduction of travelling costs in combining your trip.

Within both The Threshing Barn and The Granary you have a self-contained dining area and kitchen where you are able to prep meals. If you are looking for full board accommodation this can be provided for an additional cost of £15 per person per day, which includes breakfast, packed lunch and then a hot evening meal.

Stokes Barn is basic bunk bed accommodation, however it is an ideal location used a base both for The Edge Adventure Activities and also to use as a stepping stone for other visits off-site. Nearby we have Ironbridge which is rich of Victorian and Industrial History, Shrewsbury which accommodates many museums and medieval history and also Wroxeter which was the fourth largest Roman City in Britain.
You can make your stay at Stokes Barn full of both outdoor education and also incorporate the benefits of visiting an area that has an abundance of places to visit for school interest.
