Beaumanor is set amidst the magnificent countryside of the Charnwood Forest. We are within 15 minutes of the M1 and ten minutes from Loughborough station. The centre lies within its own secure grounds. We run courses for both day groups and residential groups. 24 hour cover is provided for all residential groups.

Beaumanor offers a wide range of outdoor and adventurous activities including:- canoeing, high ropes and zip wire, climbing, abseiling, archery, walking, orienteering, team challenges.

Beaumanor offers a wide range of curriculum themed activities, these include:- EYF and KS 1, Gruffalo day, Pirate day, Stickman day, Nursey Rhymes. KS2 include:- WW2, Victorians, Ecology and Nature study, Iron Age Celts,

What group sizes do you cater for?
110 in our residential cabins.
48 in our standing camp (April – August)
250 young people can camp using their own tents.

All cabins have a kitchen and can be used on a self-catering basis.
All cabins have staff accommodation for at least two staff.
All staff accommodation has EITHER en suite facilities or separate shower and toilets.
Cabin 1– 16 students in eight bunk beds – 1 dormitory
Cabin 2 – 16 students in eight bunk beds - 1 dormitory
Cabin 3– 20 students in 10 bunk beds - 1 dormitory
Cabin 4 – 20 students in 10 bunk beds - 1 dormitory
Bennet Centre – 18 students – 2 dormitories - 10 students and 8 students – all bunk beds.
Gage Cabin – 20 students – 2 dormitories – 10 students in each dormitory – all bunk beds.
TV and air conditioning is not available

What is your process for booking pre arranged risk assessments?
We do not hand out our risk assessments. Risk assessments are reviewed annually and inspected by independent experts during the course of our AALA and Quality Badge inspection.

All residential guests are given a fire drill. Our fire procedures are reviewed annually and all firefighting equipment checked annually by external providers.

Do you have first aid on site or will the group need to bring a qualified first aider?
All Beaumanor instructional staff are first aid qualified. First aid kits are provided in each residential cabin.

All residential groups can be catered for should they wish. Packed lunches can be provided.
A games room is provided for groups using the standing camp.
All cabins have a communal/dining area which can be used for group work and meetings.
Beaumanor have a number of dedicated classrooms including a gym.

What are your disabled facilities?
The Gage cabin is specifically designed to accommodate residents who may need to use a wheelchair. There are disabled facilities on site. Beaumanor is a flat site well served with surfaced tracks and paths. 

What are your opening days and hours?
We are open 7days a week 52 weeks of the year.

Is there anything else that you feel is important and want to include in your information?
All staff delivering activities hold NGB awards in the appropriate discipline. These are reinforced by onsite training in specific areas.
Our activities are suitable for people for all ages.
We offer both day and residential courses.
