Our adventures don’t take places in purpose built centres, we are out making the most of the incredible natural landscape, the best beaches and the most iconic landmarks that the Isle of Wight has to offer!
We can cater your trip to a wide variety of subjects to work alongside or enrich the curriculum. From discovering the fascinating geology of the Isle of Wight coastline while kayaking or coasteering, to learning about ecology and the ‘fire triangle’ on a bushcraft experience. Physics and mathematics or even a history lesson, can be incorporated in to an Archery session, and Climbing and Mountain Boarding are great opportunities to gain knowledge about gravity and human physiology.

Having worked both within and alongside local schools for over 15 years, our staff draw upon a wealth of qualifications, knowledge and experience in providing outdoor education, as well as true passion and excitement to create lots of fun and unforgettable memories!

What does a typical educational visit include?
Our Educational Visits can be fully tailored to your needs and to meet the objectives of the day. Amongst our team are fully qualified teachers, as well as the very best young talent. We can make your trip as educational as you wish, or simply provide a memorable, fun experience outside of the classroom.
With locations providing both land sports and water activities, our school trips offer the chance to tailor make a fantastic day of either land or water activities, or make it a full day of adventure where you will get to experience both!
What group sizes do you cater for?
We can cater to groups ranging from 8 up to 80 children.
Do you provide projects, teacher’s packs, work sheets or any useful information?
Although we do not currently supply teacher’s packs or work sheets at the moment, we are more than many to develop something with you prior to your trip! Just speak to us!
Are you happy for children to take photos, video or audio?
We would recommend any cameras or electronic equipment are either in waterproof and shockproof protection, or are left somewhere safe whilst on activities. Adventure Activities have a number of cameras which our staff can take on sessions by request.
What is your process for booking pre arranged risk assessments?
Detailed risk assessments and pre-arrival information packs are provided in advance of the trip. However pre arrival site visits by teachers are most welcomed, we encourage you to come and meet the team and check out the facilities before your trip.
Does your venue have an education officer?

What is the cost of the visit?
Individuals activities from £12pp
Activity Days from £35pp
Residential Trips from £119pp (includes full board, day and evening activities and accommodation)
Is specific clothing required for the trip?
All safety and personal protection equipment, including wetsuits, buoyancy aids and helmets are provided for your trip. Children will need to provide their own solid shoes or trainers (no sandals, open toed shoes or soft boots) and long sleeved tops and trousers are recommended to protect from scuffs and bruises. Our activities take place outdoors in a dynamic environment exposed to the elements. We ask you to wear clothing appropriate for the weather (waterproof jackets, sun hat etc.) sunscreen is also highly advised throughout the year!
Do you have first aid on site or will the group need to bring a qualified first aider?
All Adventure Activities instructional staff and tutors hold valid First Aid qualifications.

Please bring a packed lunch for non-residential day trips, picnic benches are available to eat lunch at. A small tuck shop is on site for children to purchase additional snacks and drinks. All meals are provided during residential stays.
What are your disabled facilities?
We endeavour to make our site accessible to everyone, and will adapt sessions as best as possible to suit the needs of the guests. Please speak to our Outdoor Education Manager to discuss any additional needs.
What are your opening days and hours?
We are open 7 days a week, all year round (excluding the Christmas break). During residential stays a Night Manager will be on duty throughout the night.
