36 years ago Godstone Farm opened its doors as an educational farm for school children and over the years has developed into the farm you see today.

With all these years behind us delivering fantastic learning experiences we are sure everyone including children, teachers and helpers will thoroughly enjoy their visit.

Exactly what does your venue offer to educational visits?
Our schools program has been specially designed to compliment Early Years and Key Stage 1 subjects you are covering in the classroom mixed in with a whole heap of fun.

The standard structured schools programme includes:
• Entrance to the farm for the whole day
• Pig Feeding
• Pony talk
• Small animal & poultry talk
• Small animal handling session
• Farm animals talk
• Harvest and vegetables talk
• Tractor Ride
• Use of a picnic barn for lunch

In addition to our standard programme we are also happy to add in other topics you may be studying in class including:
• Life cycle of chickens
• Food chains
• Grouping animals
• Diets of farm animals

Geography & Diversification

Godstone Farm is set in a beautiful rural area full of natural sights and sounds. Come along and compare the farm and its surroundings to your school, local area or other built up area. This activity would also suit children up age 13.
Gift shop and Goody bags

If you would like your children to practice their numeracy skills we have a brilliant gift shop full of pocket money and Godstone Farm branded items. We would recommend you send your children in in small groups. Alternatively we can arrange for pre-made goody bags for you to take away with you. These can be made to a cost of your choice starting from £2 per bag.

On the day of your visit, the structures programme is usually completed in the morning however you can choose to spread your activities into the afternoon. Alternatively opt for free time where you can explore even more of the farm, head round the Dino Trail or treat the children to the giant adventure playground or a timed session in the fantastic indoor soft play.
