Get ready for the mountains, in the heart of the city centre !!! Whether skiing or snowboarding, new to the sport or with many years experience, we have the facilities to get you prepared.

Exactly what does your venue offer to educational visits?
Our main area of expertise is introducing people to snow sports and sharing our passion for skiing and snowboarding. We provide activities for all levels and ages in individual, group and recreational settings. We run over 11,000 sessions a year and we provide special deals for schools and businesses. We run Instructor courses, school events and competitions are run at our slope throughout the year. We also have very successful junior ski school on Saturdays and Sundays. We also offer GCSE packages to schools wanting to offer alternative sports activities for students.

Why you are you a great place for educational visits?
We offer skiing and snowboarding as an alternative activity to conventional sports such as rugby football, hockey, netball.

What group sizes do you cater for?
We can cater for all group sizes from individuals to whole year groups

Do you provide projects, teacher’s packs, work sheets or any useful information?
We can provide work books for students to work towards each time they visit, we can provide GCSE evaluation for students

Are you happy for children to take photos, video or audio?
There are no restrictions

What is your process for booking pre arranged risk assessments?
We provide a comprehensive risk assessment to schools upon request.

Does your venue have an education officer?
All our members of staff are trained to deal with any educational request.

What is the cost of the visit?
Cost vary depending on group sizes our average cost is £100 for 12 students for a1hour session.

Is specific clothing required for the trip?
Long sleeves, gloves, long trousers

Do you have first aid on site or will the group need to bring a qualified first aider?
All our staff are first aid trained as a requirement of employment.

What are your disabled facilities?
We offer Disability Skiing as an option. our instructors are fully qualified to teach skiing to those who are less able. Adaptive Skiing, in the simplest terms, is to bypass your limitation and adapt your self, be it with training, a guide or special equipment to go on and ski. Any sport can be an adaptive sport, and can be a great way to rehabilitate, boost confidence and find a new (or rejuvenate an old) passion . You know the sport you love, find a way to make it happen.
