We Pride ourselves on the personal touch and our aim is to provide you with the best experience possible. Our staff are highly qualified with activities being provided by one of the most experienced watersports providers in the UK
Why you are you a great place for educational visits?
We are situated on and have exclusive access to an amazing piece of coastline. We have our own sea caves and cove with facilities that make the experience easy and enjoyable. Not only is our location unique, so are the activities.
Having worked in the industry for over 16yrs we have adapted and created activities that you wont find anywhere else. Our aim is to inspire and encourage and therefore we’ve been keen to stay away from your average Kayak, Archery etc sessions. So have brought in different elements to our activities to truly engage group and individual participation.
Do you have the LOtC Quality Badge or any other accreditation such as AALA?
We have an AALA license. Our number is R2085
What does a typical educational visit include?
Physical Education: take part in outdoor and adventurous activities which present intellectual and physical challenges and be encouraged to work in a team, building on trust and developing skills to solve problems, either individually or as a group
Science: recognise that living things can be grouped in a variety of ways. Explore and use classification keys to help group, identify and name a variety of living things in their local and wider environment. Recognise that environments can change and that this can sometimes pose dangers to living things
We use the resources of the coast for delivering a variety of curriculum subjects with the added enrichment that this environment acts as a stimuls for teaching eg tides, seasons, natural environments etc
The coastal environment we use also supports other aspects of learning, such as physical health, emotional intelligence, social skills and environmental awareness. All this is done in a fun and exciting environment.
