Exactly what does your venue offer to educational visits?

Sky High Adventure is a state of the art adventure activity centre in Droylsden, Manchester. Bringing together fully qualified, friendly and enthusiastic staff with a great range of activities, we provide fun and stimulating activities for all age and ability groups. With extensive experience in organising sessions for large private groups and schools we have the provision to provide sessions ranging from one hour to a whole day.

You can choose any one, or combination of our activities, depending on the age of the pupils. Choose from Clip ‘n Climb, Caving & Bouldering, High Ropes or Soft Play, and we’ll provide a fun and memorable experience. Just let us know your aims, objectives and availability and we can provide additional features to add an academic twist to the adventure.

Sky High Adventure also makes a great reward trip, team building experience and confidence enhancer just by the very nature of the activities. So even by sticking to the basics of the activities a trip to Sky High Adventure can be of value to those who join us.

Our activities are all within our one indoor arena, allowing you to watch multiple groups at a time, safe in the knowledge that bad weather won’t result in a cancelled trip.

Why you are you a great place for educational visits?

We are fully flexible and open to any requests for specific aims. This can range from a one off fun visit to a team building 6 week block. Whatever your school is looking for we will do our upmost to accommodate, one thing we are certain of is that the children will thoroughly enjoy their visit and develop skills too.

Our activities are as follows:

Clip ‘n Climb – With 22 walls standing at 7.7m high, each offering a slightly different challenge, everyone who tries Clip ‘n Climb will be testing their bravery, coordination and strength – whilst enjoying a really fun activity!

Caving & Bouldering – Our 54m Caving system requires agility and bravery whilst the Bouldering wall tests strength and agility – combine the two and you have a fun and challenging activity into which academic games and challenges can be mixed.

High Ropes – Once you’ve got your helmet and harness on, you can take to the High Ropes, set above the Caving & Bouldering where you’ll be testing your head for heights. Blindfolds can be handed out to for an additional challenge for those who dare.

Soft Play – To accommodate for all ages we have a huge Soft Play area, filled with fun activities and over four levels, this Soft Play encourages activity and imagination. With a mini climbing wall, slides, tunnels and a sports pitch, it’s a great space to play safely in.
