Description

Farrington’s is based at Home Farm, in Farrington Gurney between Bath and Bristol. The farmhouse is home to Andy & Tish Jeffery and family of four who moved there in 1989. Andy took over the farming in 1992 from his dad who had held the tenancy since the 1960′s.

The Farm is surrounded by 400 acres of lush Somerset countryside. We grow organic vegetables for sale in the Farm Shop and kitchens and wheat, maize and grass to feed the animals.

Exactly what does your venue offer to educational visits?

Farrington’s is a working farm, we grow organic vegetables and run trailer rides to the fields and discuss vegetables and their health benefits. We have in the summer a farm park where we talk about the animals. The 6,500 sqft indoor playbarn offers a safe environment to let off some steam and have a session of activity and exercise. We serve healthy food and have won a healthy eating award. Farringtons Farm shop has won the national Farm Shop of the year award twice and was voted national local food retailer of the year 2011.
