Why you are you a great place for educational visits?

Adventure Beyond has the ability to alter and shape sessions to facilitate educational needs. Whether it be part of outdoor and adventurous activities within the national curriculum for P.E., or as part of a history or geography trip we can make it happen. The venues we use are some of the most beautiful and undisturbed in Wales, which make them so special. We believe using the outdoor classroom as a method to engage young people with their learning is a vital part of today’s schooling

By using Adventure Beyond you will find that especially young people engage more  when learning in the outdoors. They will not only gain knowledge about the activities presented to them, but learn about themselves. Taking these life skills forward in the future.

Activity Days

If you want a simple activity day for your school then each of our work areas or locations has a core selection of brilliant activities that you can choose from. See our full list below of our normal work areas and for a brief explanation of the activities we provide. You can normally do two activities in a normal activity day but if that is a bit too much then you can just go for a one activity option. All you need to do is choose which activity or activities you want to do in the particular area of your choice or convenience.

Residential Stays

We can also cater for full residential stays in most of our work areas. Here you will stay in bunkhouse or camping accommodation whilst we provide you with all the equipment and activities you will need to have a fun packed week with your school groups. We can have a chat with you and design a particular itinerary that will suit your needs or you can select from a number of sample programmes that we will provide you for a particular area.

We also have a lot of experience in delivering certain programmes and activities. We can come and give you a simple activity day of team building or deliver the Duke of Edinburgh Award (DofE) training and assessment modules (see our DofE brochure for further details). Our activity days are great fun and we have a broad range of team building tasks for all ages. We can also deliver full training for DofE expeditions all the way from Bronze to Gold, including assessment.

Your venues are also simply superb. From the rugged coastline of West Wales to the high peaks of the Brecon Beacons, our activity locations are simply stunning, you will not be disappointed with the scenic vistas. Your activities will also be run by qualified and accredited guides and instructors of the highest standards. All activity equipment will be provided so all you have to do is turn up.
