Meggernie National Activity Centre is operated by Scouts Scotland, which has more than 100 years of expertise in outdoor education and working with young people.

Located in stunning Highlands Perthshire in Scotland, Meggernie Activity Centre is a 15-acre site full of natural wonders for young people to explore. It’s a truly spectacular destination, perfect for getting back to basics and teaching children about nature, outdoors play

Groups can choose to camp or take advantage of clean and comfortable dormitory accommodation in a converted farmhouse. Accommodation is offered on a self-catering basis including access to a fully kitchen.

The nearest town is Aberfeldy, a 45 minute drive away. Meggernie is approximately a two-and-a-half hour drive from Edinburgh Airport.

Kerrowmore Farmhouse provides self-catering accommodation for 30 in 7 mainly bunk bedded rooms.

Toilet & shower facilities within the building include facilities for the disabled in close proximity to a ground floor bedroom.

What is the cost of the accommodation?

Camping: £4.80 per person, per night

Indoor accommodation: £222 per night for a group of up to 24. (minimum 2 night booking)

Yes, all staff are First Aid trained. We have an on-site defibrillator.

Yes, indoor accommodation has a fully adapted shower and toilet area. Doorways to the ground floor bedroom have been widened to accommodate a wheelchair. Camping toilet block includes wet room and an alarm.
