Exactly what does your venue offer to educational visits?

Sky High Trampoline Park is an indoor trampoline park. Indoor trampolining is the new craze amongst school aged children, and a really ‘on-trend’ activity so a school trip here gets a massive thumbs up from everyone!

A visit to Sky High is a recreational/physical education trip. Trampolining is incredibly energetic and gets children active whilst having lots of fun. It is a cardioactive work out, so gets the blood pumping; but also is a low-impact way to exercise leg and core muscle groups. It builds core strength and flexibility and best of all, it releases lots of endorphins which help to keep the children happy and healthy (and out of mischief!).

Children can bounce unsupervised (whilst teachers relax in the café/viewing gallery) - there are lots of court attendants on duty and a safety supervisor at each activity station.

Bounce sessions are 55 minutes long and include free run of the 11,000 sq ft. trampoline park. This includes wall-to-wall, interconnected trampolines and angled wall trampolines,

Why you are you a great place for educational visits?

Children love the trampoline park! It is a real treat and will put a smile on everybody’s face, as well as giving them a full body, low-impact workout.

Do you have the LOtC Quality Badge or any other accreditation such as AALA?

No. We are accredited members of the International Association of Trampoline Parks

What does a typical educational visit include?

Sky High provides a recreational visit rather than a knowledge-based experience. A session includes 55 minutes in the 11,000 sq ft. park. This includes the bounce area (wall-to-wall, interconnected trampolines, angled wall trampolines); walk the wall; slam dunk; aeroball and the super-sized air pillow.

What group sizes do you cater for?

Up to 60 bouncers in one hour slot (park capacity is 60)

Are you happy for children to take photos, video or audio?

Yes

What is your process for booking pre arranged risk assessments?

We do not provide risk assessments for teachers other than the standard ‘waiver’ that every individual bouncing must sign (if under 18, a parent/guardian/carer must sign the waiver on behalf of the under 18)

Does your venue have an education officer?

No dedicated education officer – Natasha Miller (01273 580029) is in charge of all school bookings.

What is the cost of the visit?

£10 per person bouncing on the trampolines. Jump socks must be worn at £1.50 per person but you are welcome to bring your own if you already have some. Spectator admission is free and spectators are welcome to use the viewing gallery and café.

Is specific clothing required for the trip?

Comfortable clothing is advised, and grip socks are obligatory (£1.50 or bring your own).
