Description

We're as proud of our holiday park as we are of our staff and activities and we constantly invest to ensure that our accommodation and activities meet today’s expectations.  There are purpose-built activities and equipment including Bungee run ,indoor archery and small climbing wall. We offer football and rugby coaching with the advantage of weather resistant indoor and outdoor sports facilities.

The park covers 135 acres of fields and woodland, whilst being within 100 metres of the sea, and is located in the  Solway Coast area which has been designated as an area of outstanding natural beauty. The wildlife is renowned, from marine interest to the specialised flora and fauna of the dunes, peatlands and salt marshes. Migratory bird species including Barnacle Geese, can be found on the marshes and mosses; unique plants such as the insect eating Sundew can be found on the mosses; marine mammals including porpoises and seals can be seen from the promenade at Silloth, amazing honeycomb worm reefs can be seen near Allonby when the tide is out; dragonflies, butterflies, the rare natterjack toad and so many more species can all be found in the varied landscape.

The new Solway Wetlands Centre at Campfield Marsh RSPB Reserve, near Bowness on Solway, provides a wonderful interpretation of the area with educational facilities and an area to relax, have a cuppa, and just take in the atmosphere.

The Lake District Coast Aquarium at Maryport has 55 themed tanks showcasing fish, crustaceans and other marine life found around the Cumbrian coastline, plus a grand tropical marine community reef tank.

Carlisle Castle and Hadrian’s wall are noteable place of historical interest nearby.

We are confident that our facilities will work well for your students and for you!

The small town of Silloth is an easy 5 minute walk along the promenade from the park.

We are 24 miles from Carlisle and 27 miles from Whitehaven.

Public transport is not the best as Silloth is a rural area. There is a bus service to Carlisle buses run approx every two hours. However most schools / parties usually have their own coaches which is far more convenient.

Reception is generally open from 8.30am.until 6pm. We extend these hours if required while we have large groups on the park.

We can also arrange security and tailor to requirements .There is some cctv coverage in the entertainment venues.
