Belsey Bridge is set in the quiet countryside on the Norfolk and Suffolk border. It is close to the village of Ditchingham. Belsey Bridge is a small centre and perfect for school residential trips. Smaller numbers allows us to dedicate suitable time to each group and allows for a more bespoke trip.

The centre offers 24 hours security and all buildings are locked from the outside in an evening.

There are plenty of different facilities including a football pitch, swimming pool and tennis courts. All activity areas are spread out around the house so you do not feel you are in the hustle and bustle of a busy centre.

We offer three balanced and nutritious meals a day during your stay in a well fitted dining room. There is even the opportunity for an outdoor barbeque on the final night should you wish.

What group sizes do you cater for?

Belsey Bridge can take a maximum capacity of 100 children, so there is likely to only be a few schools on site at once. Larger groups could even take sole occupancy.

The room types vary and the children could find themselves sharing with between one and four of their friends. Most rooms are ensuite and those that don’t have a number of bathrooms close by the bedrooms.

What is the cost of the accommodation?

All inclusive, four night residential break with a full activity programme in the summer term is from £250. A free teacher place is available for every 10 children.

Discounts are available for larger groups and off peak trips will be available at reduced prices.

What is your process for booking pre arranged risk assessments?

We have risk assessments for the centre and also each of the activities we offer. These are available on our website. Visits can be arranged to have a look around the site. Our team visit the centre on regular dates throughout the year teachers can book on when it is convenient.

Please list facilities available.

All our trips include three meals a day during the trip starting with dinner on the arrival day and ending with lunch on the departure day.

The centre has small meeting rooms that are often used as teacher rooms during the evenings. We will also have access to larger rooms for getting the whole group together.
