Coed Owen – Brecon Beacons Bunkhouse has been converted to modern accommodation.  A warm a friendly greeting awaits those who visit and stay with us and we will do our best to accommodate all your needs during your stay in the heart of the beautiful Brecon Beacons National Park. "Coed Owen has direct access onto the Brecon Beacons and is approximately 2 hours walk from Pen Y Fan the highest peak in South Wales and Southern Britain". Coed Owen Bunkhouse is a modern and spacious converted barn which can sleep up to 26 guests and has been graded 4 stars by Visit Wales. Coed Owen is the perfect place to explore the Brecon Beacons National Park with direct access from our farmyard to the mountain. Pen Y Fan the highest point in South Wales and Southern Britain is only approximately 2 hours trek from Coed Owen. Coed Owen is a safe environment for school and youth groups and is fitted with a British Standard fire and smoke alarm system and  emergency lighting.

Coed Owen Bunkhouse is modern spacious accommodation.  Sleeping up to 26 in large multi-share dorm rooms, alongside double and single bedrooms with all bed linen provided.

Disabled facilities include 6 ground floor bunk beds. Fully equipped shower room and WC  

We do not encourage sleeping bags for health and hygiene reasons and all bed linen is provided for guests.

What is the cost of the accommodation?

A 25 per cent non refundable deposit is required to secure a booking and full payment is due 4 weeks prior to arrival.

Prices start from £18 per person per night with discount given to large groups or groups staying multiple nights.

"Coed Owen has a commercial stainless steel kitchen with fridge, microwave and all other utilities needed to cater for large groups".

We have an extra sitting room with log burner for guests when needed.

Stainless steel dining tables and stainless steel benches. Also, cushion wooden benches to provide plenty of space for eating meals. There is also a comfortable sitting area where you can watch films

We have all cooking facilities, oven and fridge and we can arrange outside catering if necessary

We have a ground floor twin bed room and three ground floor bottom bunk beds with downstairs shower and toilet.

This is an ideal location for exploring the Brecon Beacons National park and to experience life on a working farm

We have a DVD player and overhead projector which is useful for educational studies.

We can recommend licensed AALA activity providers who will work with your groups to provide all your outdoor activities.

The Brecon Beacons National Park is an ideal environment for field and geological studies.

Coed Owen has plenty of field space for fun and games although bear in mind we are a hill farm!

We have an extra sitting room with log burner for cosy, late night chats.

Our previous educational guests include DofE, Prince's Trust and private and public schools.
