Set in around 30 acres of beautiful woodland, meadow and pasture land, the Wilderness Centre offers a fantastic venue for your next Residential trip. The Centre itself sleeps up to 54 people in the main house with options for camping in the grounds if your group is larger.

Activities are tailored to the requirements of a particular group and we offer a range of activities from bush craft, climbing and field archery through to camping, crate stack, tunnelling, night walks, foraging and outdoor cookery on site. For an extra charge, activities such as canoeing, kayaking, and mountain biking will be offered off site.

Our staff team have more than 20 years of experience of working with schools to deliver exciting and relevant outdoor experiences. All of our school programmes are bespoke and designed in consultation with your group leaders to ensure specific outcomes and objectives are met.

The Centre is located at the top of Plump Hill in Mitcheldean in the beautiful Forest of Dean, close to Motorway links, 30 minutes from Gloucester, 60 minutes from Bristol and 60 minutes from Birmingham. The centre is manned 24 hours a day and site is secured at night
