Educational outreach & workshop services

Outreach visits are available for community groups, clubs, schools, charitable organisations, festivals and even corporate events!

Why is your Outreach Workshops great for educational needs?

As one of the most unique zoo’s in the UK, we have an amazing wildlife ‘classroom’ to help bring the curriculum to life. Since we are a zoo, we can cater for sessions not only on biology, but also business studies, physics, chemistry and tourism.

What does a typical school educational outreach or Workshop service include?

Outreach visits include:
• A member of the Crocodiles of the World education team to tell you about all the animals.
• Live animals and interactive experiences
• Appropriate for all ages – bringing the living world to life
• Tailor talks to what you require. Examples include: Conservation, Ecosystems, Biodiversity, Habitat, Adaptations, Predation, Science and many more

Do you have a video link on YouTube or anywhere else regarding your Outreach or Workshop service?

What group sizes do you cater for?

Our outreach presentations have catered for groups from small classes through to large arenas with over 1000 children in the audience. Of course, for hands-on experiences with the animals, smaller group sizes are best. (3 of our staff are trained in First Aid)

Can you take photos, video or audio? Are there any copyright restrictions?

Yes, No restrictions.

What is your process for taking bookings?

Contact the education team via email or call 01993 846353

What is the cost?

Outreach costs start at £150 for a one hour presentation. Final cost will depend on the duration of the booking, and there is a charge for travel.

Do you have any testimonials from previous customers?

“On world book day we were lucky enough to have a visit from Crocodiles Of The World, All the children were excited to get up close to the animals and were fascinated, we couldn’t recommend a visit to your school more, and we hope to have them back very soon”

Where geographically will you visit?

Since we bring live animals along, it is preferable that we keep travel distances to within 50 miles of Brize Norton. However, we still do travel further afield in certain circumstances. It is best to call and we can discuss this. We are available chiefly Monday – Saturday for outreach events.
