The Terrible Tudors and The Vile Victorians
Wednesday 3 – Saturday 6 September
THE TERRIBLE TUDORS Wed & Thu 1.30pm, Fri & Sat 7.00pm
From the Horrible Henries to the end of Evil Elizabeth, hear the legends (and the lies!) about the Torturing Tudors. Find out the fate of Henry’s headless wives and his punch up with the Pope. Survive the Spanish Armada as it sails into the audience! What sort of bed-time stories would YOU have heard if you’d lived in that awful age?
THE VILE VICTORIANS Wed 7.00pm, Thu & Fri 10:30, Sat 2pm
What exactly did a baby farmer do? Can you survive the misery of the mines or the filth of the factories? Do your best to dodge the rotten railway and prepare for the Charge of the Light Brigade! Just what is the story behind the song, “The Hole in the Elephants Bottom”? And dare you join in?
