MOSAIC GIFT BOX

Create your own design and then transfer this onto a box using glass mosaics in different colours.  Use it as a gift box or to keep jewellery in, lego, pens etc.

WHATEVER THE WEATHER ………

Create a weather chart with removable objects for all types of weather - build up a picture of the weather come rain or shine – snow, sunshine, umbrella, hat and scarf, wellies etc. using a variety of collage materials.

CAKE DECORATING

Let’s celebrate – you will be decorating a 6” sponge cake with fillings and toppings of your choice – cherries, chocolate, jam, cream, icing flowers etc. you will also design & decorate a cake tin to take your cake home.

“FUNKY FLOWERS”

Paint a glass vase using your own design in glass paints.  Make colourful “funky” flowers to last all year round – use your own colour scheme.

MAGNETIC MOMENTS/TREASURE HUNT

Summer fun treasure hunt for prizes – design and make summer fridge magnets – choose from insects, flowers, and other themes.

POOH BEAR HUNT AND CANDLE DECORATING
Don’t be late for the pooh bear hunt – help pooh to find his honey!! – you will also be decorating a candle with characters from Winnie the Pooh as well as a glass painting to hang in the window.  Prizes for the bear hunt.
Wednesday13thAugust  10am –12noon BUSY AS A BEE  ….   buzz   buzz    buzz…..

You will be making and decorating a bee hive, tiny bees to live inside and a real miniature pot of honey.

SUMMER HOLIDAYS PARTY TIME

Don’t be late for the butterfly hunt.  Party games – make your own cocktail!! Party Picnic at 1230.  Bring your own sun hat and shades for the disco.  Make fun “toppers” for pencils and crayons.  (£12)

CREEPY CRAWLIES
Explore the world of mini-beasts – examine creatures under our computerised microscopes (ants, beatles, centipedes etc) print your favourite ones – you will also be making a butterfly food bar.

Bring along a shoe box – you will be making an aquarium with fish, crabs, sea horses and shells - make  “Nemo” to hide in the seaweed

Make your own “Horton” hoopla game to play at home – cut and colour Horton’s head and make a hook and rings – what score did you and your friends get?

FURRY FRIENDS

Come along and meet live rescued animals from an animal sanctuary – hedgehog, squirrel, ducks etc.  You will also me making furry friends finger puppets to take home.

Using different shaped and coloured mosaic pieces, make a matching mirror and photo frame – choose a colour scheme to match your room.

SWASHBUCKLING PIRATES

Fancy yourself as a Pirate?  Come along and make a pirate’s hat, eye patch, shiny cutlass and ship’s rat – All aboard!!  All aboard!!  Chocolate coins for all the shipmates.

HUNGRY HORRACE

Design and make a “Hungry Horrace” game – can you remember where the food is to make up your meal?  You will take the game home for hours of “memory” fun with friends and family.
