The fun and excitement of driving a race kart round our skill challenging split level has to be tried to be appreciated. Our fully trained marshals and race directors ensure our circuit complex is the safest of environments in which to hone the driving skills of all participants. All safety equipment including racing overalls, gloves and helmet are provided. Why is this venue great for School Trips and Educational Visits? Driving our karts tests the skills, dexterity and coordination necessary to negotiate our challenging circuit at speed. Once found, such skills will remain invaluable in future years. What does a typical school trip or educational visit include? We can tailor make any visit to the exact specification required. Popular formats include: racing against the clock for a set number of laps where up to eight students at a time will drive a number of laps pitting their skills against the clock. At the end of each session a computer print out of each lap time will help analyze the driver’s consistency and speed. Our fully comprehensive ‘Youth Training Day’s’ are ideal where driving skills are developed to a higher level, taking the student from initial practice laps, through driving racing lines to racing off the grid in organized student groups. What size groups do they cater for? We cater for small groups and groups up to 50no.Training days are ideally suited to group size between 15 to 30 students. What can they provide you with to support your school trip or educational visit? Everything is organized for you when you bring your group to us. Teachers/organizers receive one free place for every 15 students. Can you take photos, video or audio? Are there any copyright restrictions? We are happy for photographs and videos to be taken from any spectator area. How do you arrange a risk assessment? We can provide an abridged risk assessment to teachers or our full health and safety document can be viewed at the premises. What are the contact details for their education officer? We do not employ a specific education officer although all our managers are fully conversant with the needs and training of students. What does it cost? All safety clothing is provided. Sensible shoes or trainers must be worn. Do you have first aid on site? We always have at least one first aider available on site. What facilities do they have for school trips and educational visits? Facilities are available to eat packed lunches and we run our own cafeteria where soft drinks. confectionary and hot food to order is available. Are there disabled facilities?
